As a dynamic Managing Partner & Principal Software Engineer at R and R Software Consultancy Ltd, I bring over 20 years of experience leading software engineering teams, delivering high-quality solutions, and driving strategic business growth. In my current role, I guide technical strategy, oversee software architecture, and ensure scalability, all while fostering collaboration between stakeholders and engineering teams to align technical objectives with business goals.
My professional journey began in the education sector, where I worked as an IT Consultant advising institutions on digital transformation and technology solutions. I then transitioned to managing and growing my own businesses, where I built and led teams to deliver innovative software solutions while focusing on client satisfaction and operational excellence.
With deep expertise in Agile & Scrum methodologies, team leadership, client management, and digital transformation, I help organizations navigate complex challenges and optimize their technology infrastructure for improved performance. I have also worked extensively in the public sector, providing consulting for GOV.UK digital services, SharePoint solutions, and business process analysis.
I’m passionate about blending engineering excellence with leadership, ensuring that every solution I deliver not only meets technical standards but also drives tangible business results.

As a Chief Software Architect with over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, I am passionate about crafting scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions that drive business growth. Currently, I lead the design and technical strategy at R and R Software Consultancy in Nottingham, where I focus on building cloud-native, distributed systems that are both future-proof and aligned with the business objectives of our clients.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of guiding cross-functional teams, from engineering to product development, in creating robust and high-performance systems. At Keyprog Software Solutions Ltd, where I served as Chief Software Architect for over 13 years, I spearheaded the modernization of platforms, addressed complex technical challenges, and mentored developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
I have also made significant contributions to the UK Higher Education Sector as a Software Engineering Consultant, where I worked to enhance digital learning and administrative platforms that improved both performance and user experience across educational institutions.
My journey in software development began in Sri Lanka, where I initially honed my skills as a Web Designer and later as a Software Developer. This diverse experience across roles and industries has given me a strong foundation in understanding the end-to-end lifecycle of software development, from the initial design phase to the implementation of scalable solutions.
What drives me is the opportunity to align technical architecture with business strategy, ensuring that both teams and products are empowered to grow.
